In the fall of 2017, the Ridge Diamond Club began the process of raising funds to build new dugouts at Varsity Field to replace the crumbling and often flooded original dugouts. Through selling sponsorships and collecting private donations, construction of the current dugouts began. To commemorate the generosity of those who contributed their time, money and sweat equity to this project, a sponsorship sign at the entrance to the complex stands to recognize and thank everyone for their help in making this project become a reality.
